En mars 2003, il prend l'envie à Mehdi Khadouj (guitare
claviers) de créer un projet musical avec une
chanteuse et de partager ses idées autour de l' Etre
Humain et son Perfectionnement.
La 1ere rencontre avec la vocaliste Alexandra
Bernard , quiqu'un peu tendue, ne laissera pas le
compositeur indifférent qui, quelques mois plus tard
pour former le futur groupe au patronyme étrange de
Beyon-d-Lusion .
Le duo composera et sortira chez Adipocere records
le 21 juin 2004 un mini Cd intitulé "First step to the
Source", titre à la fois révélateur de la jeunesse du
groupe et du message que celui-ci veut diffuser.
Les chroniques sont bonnes et très encourageantes
et c'est la tête sur les épaules, car tout restait à
prouver, que le groupe dorénavant formé par
Alexandra (chant), Mehdi (guitares synthés), Sammy
Khadouj (basse) et Julien Nicolas (batterie) composera son 1er Album " Intuispection" sorti
le 21 novembre 2005 chez Adipocere Records.
"Intuispection" , suite logique de "First step..." en terme
de sens et d'idée recevra un accueil convaincant
confirmant le fait qu'un véritable groupe était né sur le
territoire français.
Le mélange des influences est le maître mot de la
formation et c'est dans une grande homogénéité que
l'on retrouve à travers "Intuispection" des guitares
rythmiques, des samples électros, des percussions
et sonorités orientales, des pianos et des voix aux
consonances quelque peu "soul", en bref :
Le mélange de plusieurs Cultures . Le chant
quant à lui explore certains horizons rock, parfois
lyriques sans perdre de vue l'objectif principal de
l'organe vocal : L' Emotion

BIOGRAPHY

In March 2003, Mehdi Khadouj (guitars, keyboards)
decides to create a musical project with a singer and
to share his ideas about the human being and his
improvement. The first encounter with vocalist
Alexandra Bernard, even if it were somewhat tense,
made impression on the composer. A fewmonths later, he called her to form the band with a strange
name : Beyon-d-Lusion .
The duet composed and recorded a four-track EP
entitled "First step to the Source" (title both revealing the band's youthand the message it wants to spread) which was released on Adipocere records in june 2004 . The reviews that followed where very
encouraging.
The band grewins size in 2005 , welcoming bassist
Sammy Khadouj and drummer Julien Nicolas. With their
head screwed on tight (since all was yet to be done),
the band composed its first album entitled "Intuispection" , released on november 21, 2005, on
Adipocere records.
"Intuispection", as a logical result of "First step to ..."
in terms of meaning and objectives, received the
warmest of welcomes, which confirmed the fact that
a true band was born on French territory. The mixture
of influences is the band's key idea and listening
"Intuispection" is listening to rythmic guitars, electro
samples, percussion instruments and oriental sounds,
pianos and voices sometimes sounding like "soul"
vocals. In short : "Intuispection" is a homogeneous mix of several cultures.
As for the vocals, they sometimes explore rock tones,
sometimes lyrical tones, without losing sight of the
voice's main objective : Emotion
